How to Apply — Step by Step

Choose DSC type: Individual, Organization, or DGFT (depending on requirement).

Q: What is the validity of a DSC?
A: Generally 2 years; after expiry, it must be renewed with fresh KYC.

Q: Is the USB token compulsory?
A: Yes — DSCs must be stored in an encrypted hardware USB token as per CCA rules.
Q: What if I lose the token?
A: You must revoke the DSC and apply for a new one with a fresh token.

A: Yes — document submission, payment, and video verification can all be done online. Only the token needs physical delivery.
